Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a broad spectrum against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria susceptible. Recommended to treat: rhinitis, pharyngitis and bronchitis (in calves and piglets), salmonellosis, infections or necrotic enteritis: Escherichia coli, Shigella, Klebsiella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Enterobacter, Citrobacter and other germs susceptible to gentamicin. In cattle it is recommended against pneumonia, septicemia, diarrhea, metritis, endometritis and mastitis.
Tylosin is a macrolide antimicrobial mixture produced by certain strains of Streptomyces fradiae.
Antimicrobial activity:
Mycobacterium avium, Streptococcus group C (S. agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, S. uberis).
B. bronchiseptica, Escherichia coli, Leptospira spp, M. bovis, P. haemolytica, P. multocida, Proteus spp, P. aeruginosa, Salmonella spp and Mycoplasma (M. agalactiae and M. capri).
TYLOGENT REFORZADO ® is a solution that is rapidly absorbed, having good levels one hour of application, and is easily distributed in tissues. It is recommended as a bacteriostatic agent to combat chronic respiratory diseases and other infections caused by Mycoplasma, Gram positive bacteria and some Gram negative bacteria. In cattle, sheep and goats, combat diseases such as pneumonia, diphtheria, metritis; swine erysipelas attacks, arthritis caused by Mycoplasma, salmonellosis, and cases of enteritis. Produces a synergy between its components potentiates the effect of these and less volume is administered for less time. It also contains dipyrone that helps the antibiotic is absorbed better (the tissue swelling to better absorption occurs).
DOSE:
Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs and ostriches: 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight. In all species every 24 hours for 3-5 days at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Birds combat: 0.15 ml per kg body weight.
ADMINISTRATION: Intramuscular.
Do not consume the milk of treated animals until five days after the last treatment.
Do not consume meat from animals treated for 30 days after the last treatment.
Do not administer to animals allergic. For your application to use sterile equipment.
