INDICATIONS:
Due to its characteristics, enrofloxacin is an antibiotic of first choice, which is concentrated in macrophages and neutrophils, so it reaches the site of infection in high concentrations, immediately, which helps the immune system to eliminate agents pathogens, achieves therapeutic levels before an hour and remains in high concentrations, for prolonged periods. ENRODAW PET® 50 AND 150 MG act by inhibiting gyrase, a valuable enzyme for the transmission of genetic information and cellular metabolism, so it controls both active and inactive cells.They have no cross resistance with other antibiotics.
DOSE:
Enrodaw Pet ® 150: 1 tablet per 30.0 kg of body weight, every 24 hours for 5 days.
ENRODAW PET® 50 AND 150 MG are indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of canines and felines such as: Skin infections: Pyoderma, abscesses and wounds infected by Staphylococcus aureus, S. intermedius, Pseudomona aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris and P. mirabilis , among other germs susceptible to enrofloxacin.Genitourinary infections: Nephritis, urethritis, prostatitis, metritis and other infections caused by: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus intermedius, S. aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Streptococcus spp, Mycoplasma spp and other aerobic and anaerobic aerobic microbes. Bone infections: Osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Proteus spp, Pseudomona aeruginosa and other microorganisms susceptible to enrofloxacin, both aerobic and anaerobic. Respiratory infections: Pneumonias, tonsillitis, bronchitis, rhinitis and other infections caused by: Staphylococcus spp, Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Streptococcus faecalis, Mycoplasma spp, Chlamydia spp, Proteus mirabilis and Bordetella. Infections of the digestive system: Stomatitis and gastroenteritis caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus spp, Salmonella spp and other microorganisms susceptible to enrofloxacin, both aerobic and anaerobic. Septicemias: Caused by Gram negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli or Salmonella spp and Gram positive bacteria susceptible to enrofloxacin.
