indications:

Ramipril plus 20 nrv* is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor that acts as a mixed vasodilator and is indicated for the treatment of congestive heart failure caused by valvular insufficiency (endocarditis) or cardiomyopathy in dogs.

it acts synergistically with spironolactone, which has a diuretic and potassium-sparing action. prevents myocardial fibrosis secondary to restructuring changes in heart disease and prevents the alternate pathway of aldosterone by acting as a specific antagonistic cardiac protector.
dose:

dogs: 1 tablet / 20 kg of body weight (equivalent to 0.1 mg of ramipril / kg of weight and 2 mg of spironolactone / kg of weight) every 24 hours.

treatment should always be started with the lowest recommended dose.

the dosage and duration of treatment is the responsibility of the veterinarian.
route of administration:

oral.
warnings:

Do not use in cases of hemodynamically relevant stenosis or hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.

At the start of treatment with ACE inhibitors or after an increase in dosage, a drop in blood pressure may exceptionally occur, which may manifest as fatigue, lethargy or ataxia, in such cases treatment should be interrupted until the symptoms recover. normal conditions and then continue at 50% of the initial dose. As with high doses of diuretics, a drop in blood pressure may also occur.

administer with caution in animals with renal insufficiency.

do not administer in conjunction with ac. acetylsalicylic.
