Description:

SIMPARICA (sarolaner) is a flavored, highly palatable chewable tablet to be administered to dogs and puppies according to their weight. Each tablet is formulated to provide a minimum sarolaner dose of 2 mg/kg body weight.

Indications:

Simparica chewable tablets eliminate adult fleas and are indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis) and for the treatment and control of tick infestations (Rhipicephalus sanguineus). Amblyomma americanum, Ablyomma cajennense, Amblyomma maculatum. Dermacentor variabilis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes scapularis, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes holocyclus, Ixodes hexagonus, Haemaphysalis longicornis). Simparica provides an immediate and persistent elimination of fleas and ticks for at least 5 weeks.

Simparica chewable tablets are also indicated for the treatment and prevention of mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiel and Demodex canis and for the treatment and prevention of Otadectes cynotis (ear mites).

Administration:

Simparica chewable tablets are administered orally once a month at a minimum recommended dose of 2 mg/kg.
