DOSE:
Canines:
Initial: 0.2 mg/kg/24 hours (1 tablet/10 kg).
Maintenance: 0.1 mg/kg/24 hours (½ tablet/10 kg).
Cats: 0.1 mg/kg/24 hours (1/4 tablet/5 kg).
For a maximum period of 10 days.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Oral.
INDICATIONS: MELODEX TABS, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic; Useful for the treatment of inflammatory disorders of the musculoskeletal system, both acute and chronic in canines and felines.
It is used for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery, ovariohysterectomy, or orchiectomy when administered prior to surgery.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
WARNINGS: Withdraw 24 hours prior to surgery and continue its administration after surgery. Do not use in animals hypersensitive to meloxicam. Use with caution in patients with liver, cardiac, renal, and bleeding disorders, as well as in dehydrated, hypovolemic, or hypotensive animals.
In patients with loss of appetite and gastric problems, vomiting, diarrhea and/or gastrointestinal ulceration may occur. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.
Keep in a cool and dry place; Protected from direct sunlight at a temperature between 18 and 25°C. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Product veterinary use only.
