Description

Broad spectrum dog dewormer. (Oral tablets.)
Drontal Plus is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, comprising a combination of praziquantel, pyrantel pamoate and febantel (synergistic combination).
For exclusive use of the Veterinary Zootechnician.
Praziquantel ............................................. 50 mg
Pyrantel ………………………………………. 144 mg
Febantel …………………………………………. 150 mg
Box of 24 tablets. 
(Fractionable tablets for dosing from 2.5 kg).
Oral.
1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.
Indications
Drontal Plus possesses an extremely broad spectrum of action. The scopes of application are in cestode and nematode infestations of the dog:
Nematodes: Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina.
Ankylostomes such as: Uncinaria stenocephala and Ancylostoma caninum.
Tricurids such as: Trichuris vulpis.
Cestodes such as: Echinococcus granulosus, E. multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Multiceps multiceps and Mesocestoid spp.
None of the 3 active principles of Drontal Plus induces problems of teratogenicity, carcinogenicity or mutagenicity. Drontal Plus is well tolerated by the patient, does not provoke vomiting or transient gastritis. It is so safe that at 40 times the dose no adverse effects have been presented, nor signs of intoxication.
Drontal Plus is the option for treatment of puppies, adults, pregnant females and in lactation periods. The damage produced by worms to their hosts, can be very varied, producing in all cases serious disorders. In addition they are transmitted to man (especially children and elderly).
