indications:
Diuretic of immediate action indicated in edema therapy, venous stasis as a result of congestive heart failure, ascitis, hydrothorax, edema associated with liver cirrhosis and nephropathy, even nephrotic syndrome. furosemide is particularly useful when it is desired to have an agent with greater diuretic potential.
dosage:
canines: 1 tablet for every 3 kg body weight every 24 hours (equivalent to 2 mg furosemide /kg weight).
felines: 1 tablet per 6 kg weight every 24 hours (equivalent to 1 mg of furosemide / kg weight).
the dosage and duration of treatment is the responsibility and judgment of the veterinarian.
route of administration:
oral, like direct taking.
warnings:
repeated administration of furosemide can lead to dehydration, hypovolemia, hypotension and electrolyte imbalance conditions, so it is important to monitor their use and not exceed the recommended dose.
