Cefalax 150 mg/mL DESCRIPTION: Cefalexin, an antibiotic belonging to the group of semi-synthetic cephalosporins,
is resistant to penicillinases and is therefore active against microorganisms that are not sensitive to penicillins. INDICATIONS: Cefalax is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract,
genitourinary tract, skin, soft tissue, and ear infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria susceptible to cephalexin. DOSAGE: In dogs and cats,
the recommended dose of cephalexin is 10 mg/kg of body weight or 1 ml of Cefalax per 15 kg of body weight, every 12 hours. The duration of treatment will be determined by the treating veterinarian.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Deep intramuscular injection, use a sterile syringe and needle. PRESENTATION: 10 mL bottle
WARNINGS: antiga Do not administer to animals with a history of hypersensitivity to cephalosporins. Store at room temperature no higher than 40°C and in a dry place. Protect from sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. Do not administer if the cap has been tampered with.
